In 1934, the Bowlus Road Chief pioneered the concept of aluminum travel trailers. A revolutionary design born out of a passion for travel and innovation. Only 80 of these masterpieces graced the roads in the 1930s before its brilliant creator, Hawley Bowlus, returned to the world of aviation. The torch was then passed to one of his former employees, Wally Byam, who took inspiration from Bowlus and founded Airstream.
Fast forward nearly eight decades,and a group of dedicated Bowlus enthusiasts, having lovingly restored one of the original 1930s trailers, decided to bring the company back to life in 2014.They infused modern comforts like radiant floors, on demand hot water, and a Wi Fi booster into this piece of history.

Off the Grid Adventures: Equipped with a 200 watt amp solar panel. The digital thermostat controls a 2500btu boiler and 10000btu A/C. It has a 19 gallon fresh water tank and a 21 gallon grey water tank, along with a wet bath, endless hot water on demand, and a cassette toilet.
